Hope Extended

What is Hope Extended?

Hope Extended reaches out with gracious intentions to families and students at College Park who are experiencing food, housing and financial insecurities. We do this through providing food boxes, snacks, clothing and supplies.

Ways to Join in During the Holidays

Holiday Meals - Help provide holiday meals for families with students at College Park High School who are facing food insecurities.   We are providing pre-cooked holiday meals from Whole Foods! Gift cards of any amount are welcome! Drop off in the office or mail slot anytime.

Christmas gifts-  We will provide Christmas gifts for some students who might not otherwise receive gifts.  We will ask them for one need, and one want.  (maximum of $50 per gift)

Ways to Join in All Year

Resource a Student

There is an opportunity to bless an under resourced student throughout the remainder of the school year.  Each month you can provide a small gift and a note of encouragement for a student.  Although you will not know their identity you will know their age and preferences.  The gifts are delivered once a month through May.

December Shopping List

We deliver groceries to families of College Park students with food insecurities twice a month. This basics we are focusing on collecting this month are:
  • Whole Foods gift cards (these are used to purchase pre-cooked holiday dinners)
  • peanut butter
  • jelly
  • cereal
  • shelf stable milk
  • pasta & pasta sauce
